HVAC trade
Air conditioning installer website design.
F-Gas credibility, brand-specific pages for Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, LG, Samsung, BUS heat pump grant content and commercial PPM contract sections.
Air conditioning is no longer a luxury trade in the UK — three of the last five summers have rewritten what homeowners and offices expect. At the same time, the heat-pump push and the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant have pulled HVAC installers into a renewable-heat conversation they weren't having five years ago. A website built for this trade has to cover both: the panicked August enquiry for a single bedroom split, and the structured £15k air-to-water heat pump install part-funded by BUS. Same brand, completely different sales journeys.
The credibility opener is F-Gas. Cat 1 registration in the header, on every product page, on the footer — refrigerant-handling competence is the legal bar and serious buyers screen on it. Alongside, MCS accreditation for any heat pump installer (required for the customer to claim BUS), Refcom membership where relevant, and manufacturer training credentials for the brands you fit. Then the brand pages: Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy, Panasonic, LG, Samsung, Toshiba — one per brand with feature comparison, warranty length, energy ratings (SCOP for heating mode, SEER for cooling, ErP class) and pricing brackets.
Service pages structured by system type. Single-split for one room, multi-split for whole-house, ducted/cassette/cabinet for commercial. A dedicated air-source heat pump page with BUS grant detail, MCS process, SCOP and noise reassurance. Optional air-to-water and ground-source pages if you do them. Each page explains the install in plain English, shows real photos of finished installs (not stock units in white rooms), and links to a survey-booking flow.
The commercial layer is where the recurring revenue lives. VRF/VRV system design for offices, server room cooling with N+1 redundancy, retail cassette installs, hotel and care home solutions. Plus the PPM (planned preventative maintenance) contracts that fund the year — F-Gas leak checks, annual servicing, response SLAs for breakdown. Dedicated commercial section with case studies, capability statement and a serious enquiry form. Done properly, the site books domestic splits while you sleep and shortlists you for £100k+ commercial fit-outs when facilities managers go shopping.
