Flooring trade

Flooring fitter websites that book the right jobs.

Karndean and Amtico pages, engineered wood, LVT herringbone, subfloor preparation content — design that wins quality work over price-led.

Flooring fitting splits hard by category. Karndean and Amtico customers are brand-led and willing to pay for an Approved Installer. Engineered wood customers want acclimatisation, expansion gaps and finishing detail. Solid wood customers care about species, board widths and sanding plans. LVT customers are price-aware but the herringbone and large-format pattern work commands a premium. Laminate is the entry-level mass market. Commercial safety flooring is a completely different audience again. A generic "flooring services" page tries to address all of them and ranks for none.

So we build flooring sites with a service page per major category, each optimised for the specific search behind it. Karndean and Amtico Approved Installer badges placed correctly if you have them — homeowners specifically search by brand affiliation and are willing to pay 20–30% more for an Approved installer. Engineered and solid wood pages with acclimatisation, expansion, finish (oil vs lacquer) detail. LVT page with herringbone and large-format pattern examples. Commercial flooring page if you do it, with safety, slip ratings and recent contract references.

The under-used conversion lever is subfloor preparation content. Customers don't search for "latex screed" or "DPM" or "moisture testing" — but content that explains why subfloor prep matters, what happens if you skip it, and what you include in your quote positions you as the proper option rather than the cheap option. Often the decisive factor when a homeowner is comparing your £4,800 quote against a £3,200 one from someone who'll lay over the existing surface and hope.

Per-square-metre labour rates published transparently ("£18–£28/sqm depending on format and prep, herringbone uplift £6/sqm") qualifies leads. Supply-and-fit versus fit-only made clear from the homepage. Google Business Profile properly set up with photos from every install (Google loves the variety), review workflow built in. Hosting, SSL, care plan all sorted.
