Divi is the most popular premium WordPress theme on earth for a reason. The visual builder is the best in the business, the Theme Builder gives you template control over every part of the site, the lifetime licence is incredible value, and the community of layout packs and tutorials is vast. Used well, Divi is genuinely a great foundation for a business website.

Used badly, Divi is a slow, sprawling, fragile mess. Default installs ship with every Google Font, every icon set, and every module enabled — most of which you'll never use. Page builders by their nature add weight; Divi adds more than most. And the same flexibility that makes it powerful also makes it easy to build pages where every section uses different colours, fonts and spacing, leaving you with a "design" that's actually just decisions.

Our job is to get the upside without the downside.
